The exhibition Between Zero and One brings together artists who explore the virtual space projected by the imaginary between the limits of 0 and 1.
Concepts of duality, change, limits, metamorphosis, virtual worlds and their variations are examined, in conversation with virtual data and the intermediate unactivated space of the unconscious, allowing for a synthesis of different approaches.
Through the diversity of the works, the exhibition seeks to highlight ways of redefining digital media language as a synthetic world-making tool where information, technology and the expressive space created through them, meet.Projects range between interactive and audio-visual installations, virtual reality, 3d animation, AI and video art installations, proposing an expansive perspective on the multiple facets of visual creation.
The artists have various backgrounds, their common ground being their studies in the postgraduate program Digital Art Forms of the Athens School of Fine Arts.
