Lecture / Talk
Συζήτηση με τον Σάντρο Μετσάντρα: Πλανητική Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη
What is a pole? How do you recognize one in the wild? How does it relate to the state, territory, and war? What kinds of actors, technologies, and processes shape and sustain it?
On the occasion of the collective volume Planetary Artificial Intelligence, Sandro Mezzadra revisits the concept of capital’s operations to unpack our current planetary condition. From logistics and finance to digital infrastructures, energy flows, and AI—what can these global spaces teach us about the transitions of our increasingly multipolar world?
Moving beyond traditional geopolitics and imperial theory, this talk explores the shifting relationship between capitalism and territorial sovereignty—while keeping open the horizon of an expanded, dynamic class struggle, and the possibility of emancipation, against all odds.
Intro by Andreas Makris.
The event will be held in English with interpretation.
